Visit my next exhibition in Buchrain

At the end of 2023, I was able to fulfil a long-cherished wish. An adventure into a world that I had previously been able to familiarise myself with on occasion and that had awakened my longing for further discoveries.

After nine years as a social worker at the Cancer Support Charity of Central Switzerland, I resigned from my job, completed my training as a photographer and boarded a plane with my husband to Zanzibar. Three months travelling through Africa lay ahead of us. Our goal was to discover ten countries overland and experience, recognise and be amazed in the company of local guides. And I captured everything we were able to experience on this trip with my heart and my camera.

Our families and friends were able to follow the journey via our travel blog. When we returned home, the experiences had a long-lasting effect, even today and beyond. What became important to me and what insights I gained from observing the different realities of life of people, animals and nature, I processed in photographic form. The fact that I can now present my works in the AltBar Bueri fills me with great joy.
